Thanks, I'm surprised nobody seems interested in this car considering it's basically a give-away ... this hasn't put me off the BX as a car, but what I need to do right now is get something I can use daily, so I can work, and get things back to normal, and hopefully get some money so I can try and regain some of my losses!

Lots and lots of money down the drain but if I can sell the car I can move on, and start earning again. I'll get something to replace it. I do need the money so anyone who's interested, please don't hesitate to get in contact with me about this - like I and others have said, for a know-it-all home mechanic this is a steal

Thanks for all your replies.

I have just bought another car, so the BX needs to go. Open to offers.

Is this the car one or two members of FCF suggested you treat with care

due to very short MOT and comparitively high price, etc? If it is I do

sincerely hope you"ve got it right this time!

Best of luck with it!

Richard.

 Yes turbo works, it's fun, and overtaking is now possible!

I know 0-60 in 12 seconds is not amazing, but it's much better than I'm used to.

Might take some pictures at some point, is there still no interest in my TXD?

If I can't sell it here I'm really not sure what to do ...

Has it got those Turbo D badges on it? Been after some of those for a while.

Nope, it has nothing on the front wings (not sure if the 306 is supposed to, I know the ZX has them) just the badges on the rear, "Peugeot", "306" and "XRdt"

James, get a few piccies when its clean inside and out and it will help if you end up ebaying it.

As for the 0-60 on a diesel its the mid range torque you will use the most, I had a 95M XTDT for a short as a runabout while a few years ago and when it was rolling it really motored.
