Depends on your experience I would have thought, nursing wise we are a dying breed in SMS, the amount of workers with no nursing background is phenominal, which makes the ones with (who can do all the BBv imms & vacs) worth a band 6! If your really lucky and get to be a team lead you can get a band 7. I droppd to an E grade when i went into SMS, but got my F grade back witin 6 months and G grade 6 months later when i took over Shared Care.rob-81 wrote:Marty - I would love to work in SMS. Not many vacanncies here in Suffolk though and I guess I would need to go back to a band 5 for a bit.
Keep checking :

Jonathan - let me now if you want any help.
Yeah, well we can talk about giving an old Mk 1 a bit of a rub over with a damp cloth or we can talk about student nurse night at Fridays night cub, drinking too much, how student nurses these days dont know they are born, when i was a student I had to be up at 3 am to start work at 4am cleaning bed pans, and we were all the better for it tooSusan Donym wrote:and there was me thinking I had joined a car forum
Actually et me tell you about Sister Pearson (back in the days of aprons and frilly hats).
i made a bed, Sr Pearson came over to me and said £student nurse martin - this bed you have made is a Wee Bed...
Sorry sr Pearson i replied, what do you mean a wee bed?
To which, she grabbed the counterpane and sheets and went Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! and chucked them on the foor - Now make it again, properly she said....
If only I had had a full bed pan in my hand...

My main prob is twofold mate.....I aint got access to a vehicule suitable for shifting the aforementioned erection (Royal Mail wont allow use of their vans for "personal usage")......and I'm still currently barred from driving owt anyway, due to my oversized, multicoloured left calf!BTW - Dave - do ye want this shed? I will take garibaldis if no bourbons...
I dont think you can fit panniers to crutches, can you?
If you find someone who wants to take it soon.....relieve them of their bourbons mate. My garibaldis may be a couple of weeks yet!

Thats the jellyfish, Mr. Invisible. Went rather against the grain of "open moderation" that..Susan Donym wrote:a guy called Tjorven on here helped me sort out my pictures , if I remember correctly his name was Steve .docchevron1472 wrote:The site was down because David Hitler Hurley and Steve shit the bed after the 3 remaining members that have a backbone also stated they were stainesque tossers.
Now the site is back.
doc chevron , is your name Chris , my dad says he knows you , Nigel from Eastbourne , do you remember him ?
Still, he clearly enjoyed his 5 minutes of fame, not that he'd have had any had it not been for me!
Indeed, my name is Chris, and yes I do remember your dad!
How is he? It has rather been a while.
Do you still look like the picture he has of you in the cab?
If so, fancy going for a drink sometime! You can ride in a proper BX with leather seats and evryfink!
If you're REALLY lucky I'll show you my bus, all 40' and 49 seats of it!
Surely every girls idea of a great night out???
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

How about giving a nurse a rub over with a damp cloth?!

So have you actually met Susan, Chris? Or just her dad? It's a good job she is used to all this innuendo otherwise I'm sure she'd have been frightened off by now!
EDIT - Didn't actually read your post properly, I see that you've only seen a picture...

Gosh did I make that much of an impression on you from a picture,
It must of been five years ago when you met dad,
that picture was when I was 19, I have changed a bit ( for the better I hope) and he has a more recent picture of me in the lorry now.
that was the year I went travelling after I finished college.
I think Dad said you live near Bristol or Stroud dont you , thats a long way to come for a night out, but leather ey , thats tempting .
I know you drive buses but do you mean you have your own ? , thats mad ,
dad asked me to ask you if you still have the ambulance and is it going yet ?
anyway , I wont be around for a few days as I am going down home for Easter ( the camping trips on hold for now )

Erm, well, ya know....er, yeah!Susan Donym wrote: Hi Chris ,

Gota be yeah, I had hair then, and health. Neither of which I have now!sue wrote:It must of been five years ago when you met dad,
Still got most of my own teeth though!
Yeah, I still flit between the two, summer months tend to be spent in the Stroud area, winter months I spend hybernating by the fire in Brizzle.Sue wrote:I think Dad said you live near Bristol or Stroud dont you , thats a long way to come for a night out, but leather ey , thats tempting .
I've travelled considerably greater distances to fix hairyarsed mens cars, so thats no distance at all to soend an evening with a lovely young lady.
Although after the weekend I'll be laying the leather clad car up for a few weeks, £240 for fuel this week, and more last week is getting a tad silly really!
Yep, I've had several over the years, including a rather lovely old Bristol, but now I have a Dennis Lance (which sounds like a pornstar I know) bus.. at the moment it's the worlds biggest jigsaw puzzle, but it'll be lovely when it's done, and will be complete with happy smily badgers! (not actaul real badgers, that'd be a tad cruel really!).Sue wrote:I know you drive buses but do you mean you have your own ? , thats mad ,
And yes, it is fairly borderline mad!
Yeah, I've still got the ambulance, I'd never ever get shot of that thing.Sue wrote:dad asked me to ask you if you still have the ambulance and is it going yet ?

It does still run, and move and stuff, but hasn't been on the road since, er, oh well, I cant actually remember, but it's beena few years. It will go again, once the bus is finished, and the other cars been restored, and I get bored again..
Still has the curtains aswell that your dad found so amusing!
Have a lovely easter!
