You're always welcome mate, although when you say "A bit of welding"... you have seen the piccies right?!
It's more like making a new chassis from scratch.

I really hope your dads doing ok mate.
Best wishes.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

((With apologies for the thread hijack Susan))

Well the steroids and antiemetics have kicked in he is able to eat a bit more but the weight is dropping off him owing to the fact that he can oly eat little bits before feeling boated. Went down to his today with the task of clearing the garage, but as this (his idea) was clearly starting to upset him i sacked it off and we took some stuff to the tip and I brought a couple of bits home to ebay off for him, but the tools will have to wait till later. He manages a Macdonalds big mac today for dinner, but couldnt eat anything else - at least that and the half dozen packs of sugar n his tea were 500 calories, that coupled with a few forti-sip's help the calorie intake to keep his strenghth up.

He puled out some old army photos from 1947 - by gods he was skinny even then!

At the moment he is quit pain free, the consultant reckons he will suffer very little pain, but jst get weaker till he eventually conks. :? Dad himself is quite chipper though and sees it as one big adventure.

Sorry mate, I really am.

Have you tried those "Ensure" drinks?
They taste foul, but they are great for calories and stuff.

The banana flavoured ones are the least awful, I mean, they taste sod all like bananas, but they at least dont taste like they've been filled with effluent.

Looks like it's got potential! I like those BX stickers down the side and the wheel trims - CX perhaps? Never seen them on a BX

-deffy BX wheel trims: they're the self same ones that came as standard on the BX19 GT.

They later reappeared on the limited edition BX 14 'Preview'

I quite like them 8)

Perhaps Susan's Dad has told her about your legendary capacity for ale and she doesn't realise that you're now a reformed and moderate drinker?

sorry for the delay in getting back to you Chris ( and others ) , I had an assignment to wrap up before tomorrow.

Yes Chris, of course I will come out for a drink with you .
just let me know when and where ,

I will send you my mobily number by private message ( dont want to be getting lots of pervy phone calls now do I  ) .

Obviously Im back in Ware now , be nice to hear from you.

and Mulley

Dad is still trying to find out more about the other BX , at the moment they cant even find the keys ( it was left unlocked in the barn )

Its wierd that there were 2 bxs let alone two diesel ones. mind you the guy who owns the buisness is minted to say the least .
