yes but there must be more than 50 quids worth of parts to a true CITROENY/BX'er that is concernd BX's are disappearing fast, seems to me like another GS/A sindrom were no one wants them till there is only a hand full left,

Rather depends on what general condition the cars in though doesn't it.
A bit pointless getting a cheap car for spares if the engines shagged, and all the usual bearings / bushes are FUBAR.
I'm not saying your car is mullered, but since there's little to no actual info here it's rather hard to make a guess at whether it's worth going across the country for it.

docchevron1472 i do agree with a lot of what you are saying, this car was basicly a work hores although most of the body panels are straight but the usual flat RED paint, which dose come up quite well with a polish, good tyres, and the engine is very good except head gasket gone, used to be very economical and ulled like a train
