Yes, the lack of PAS is a bit of an issue, odd really since the 19 had PAS and the engine weighs the same...
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I don't have power steering on my yellow break - it's never really bothered me. Perhaps after building up Russian shot-putters forearms from driving the Merc 406D van which is 3.5 ton and no power steering!

2 SORNED BXs still available

Post by jrdpod »

In answer to Roverman's query, my 17RD is still available, along with lots of spares.

Likewise, my Meteor is also still available.

Full descriptions of these cars at the "head" of this thread.

Happy New Year.

Make a great Rat Style car!

I don't know too much about Rat Style but there are those (as the link) who actualy sand the paint off some of their pannels to make them go rusty + the compulsory roof / boot rack and wonky no. plate of course!

yeah, even the plastic front bumper is rusty! That's quite interesing that Fiat site you're into Mr. Defender!
I too have a certain interest in the Rat look but I believe it has to be totally genuine - no faked ageing trying to replicate in-the-desert-sun for 30 years look, especially cars that are only 10 years old.
It started in America with people just running their naturally aged vehicles, partically VWs and now it's become a world wide virus of bogus-ness.
This fits the bill

Well I guess its not THAT different from Olympic blue, and Mr Tourist had my old front bumper which was in good nick, stick that and some wheeltrims on it and it would look better! I think?

Whats the mechanicals and interior like?

Quite cool as it is. The 'rat look' thing is done to death now, one or two cars with the paint sanded off, rusty bonnets and roof racks full of shit were ok for a short while but it's unoriginal and dull now.

I agree quite cool as it is, in fact its seriously growing on me this ruff look lol but we obviously move in different circles as the rat look thing is new to me not 'done to death' although I've got to agree with Todd it has to be natural as is this BX rather than deliberately done, though I think the Porsche might be a step too far.

Oh aye, the 'natural' rat look isn't too bad but purposely making panels go rusty and adding 'cool' stuff looks toss now.
