Good on you Dave. Any other petrol BXers would be grateful, strange that I have 3 carb fed ones, 2 are spot on and one (the lowest mileag emost pampered one) is a pain!

Post by Pol64 »

Hi Nick
What are the wheel trims like?
I have a 14 tge and would like original trims for wheels.
Happy to pay cost and postage

Hi Paul,

You're a bit late for Nick - but fortunately I rescued everything from him last Saturday.

The wheeltrims have a single line across the diameter with a small triangular 'flag' at each end - I don't know what the 14TGE had originally though. Mounting is through an anular ring which clamps into the rim of the wheel - all the rings are present.
Its in amazing condition ....and a pleasure to drive.
Should we start a book on whether you are going to keep it or not :-)

Cheers,
Brian.

Sounds like TZS hatch/TZD estate ones to me, they fit any BX.
