Well the reserve is £100, which is what they owe me so as long as I get that then they can go, which is £12 short of 6 months tax but I think I can manage that myself

Fair play, good price. The thing I find really odd, is that you'd expect any remaining BX owners to belong to this club, it's bizarre to think there are others out there still needing BX bits but not in here.....if that makes sense. How many bidders were there?

Hard to believe bandit, but there are people out there that dont have internet access

& some just aren't bothered about being a member of a car club either, so that's probably where the remaining owners of any non club cars will be i suspect....

If they didn't have internet access then how did they find the wheels for sale?

ESP? I know there are BX owners who don't seem to think the car would have a 'club' (met one the other day) and really don't regard the car they drive as a classic... and I know there are BX owners in the CCC but not here.

14 watchers and 5 bidders, the guy has TWO TZD turbos, and seems an enthusiast so odd hes never heard of the BXC, Ive pointed him to here so I expect we may see him joining up soon.

I doubt many people run a BX these days as they are just a cheap old car!

If anybody's in my neck of the woods there are three steel wheels with 165-70R-14 tyres with a bit of life left in them and two steel wheels with 185-70-14-88T tyres with plenty of life left in them all off BX diesels free for the taking. Gibbo (postcode GL15 6LE)

In recent months, I've had a few interested people express interest in the TZD, not from a buying point of view but in a retro/different car point of view. It seems the 'obscure Citroen' still holds it's own with those in the know. An XR3i driver was loving the TZD recently, purely as he loves 80's/90's cars.

I must confess that if I'd been an Audi Quattro owner, I'd be feeling quite smug due to the uprising caused by Ashes To Ashes.

Oddly, I can't see the BX gaining the same status, except through some strange cult French film!

Unless theydo a 90's version of LifeOnMars/AshesToAshes perhaps called RealCoolWorld, in which case maybe the Gene Genie will be chasing down criminals in BX 16v?

Bollocks.

They should do a scouse version of Ashes to Ashes and call it 'Walton to Altcourse'.
You could have those Citroen H van things police cars ferrying the five fingered discount specialists between prisons, and a BX police cars loaded to the hilt with stolen car stereos.

Opening scene would be Vanny Savage in drag sitting in a stolen car listening to Cilla Black on eight track cassettes.
