My grandad who lives in the USA had a 1988 Chevrolet Suburban until recently with a 4**Ci V8 which i believe was 7.4 litres.

It was an enormous 4x4 with 3 rows of seats and towed his huge speedboat like it wasnt there.

Funnily enough though, at 85mph it felt like it was going to blow up!

they do tow well, used to use my 5.0 oldsmobile to tow cars about.

Dunno why your relations car felt bad at 85mph. That olds would do 115 on the speedo before id bottle out. they get a bit wallowy/floaty.

Ah hah! I've replied to you in another thread about that car, I did wonder if you knew it or had just read my homepage!

That GSA was a shed but it did everything I expected it to - and then some. I even got a tenner for it when I sold it ;)
