That sounds interesting. Have you any pics, and a price in mind?

I'll post pics, but for now, it's one that has a single full sized bulb in a c.5" wide brake light unit with a plastic 'tunnel' that you cut to suit the angle of the rear screen. Then you put a rubber seal around the edge to tidy it up. It mounts like a rear view mirror on a pedestal onto the glass - or can be screwed onto the rear parcel shelf although you would need to add a connector / plug if you wanted to do that, to allow removal of the shelf.

All the instructions and pieces are there including a rear screen angle measuring device... And as I said it's a proper period Hella item.

Given its age the adhesive might be a little dried out on the pad, but who knows - you can always use the fixing adhesive kit you can get for the aforesaid mirrors.

I'd sell for £12.

Has anyone got any mark 1 bits?

Im especially interested in side rubbers and badges (Citroen and BX 16TRS etc) for after the resoray/bodywork to be done over the winter.

This is sounding like an excellent weekend - Adrian Chapman's talked me into camping and a few beers. Apparently there'll be Citroen's there too... ;)

Looking at that bend, if they're doing any more than 5MPH they're all going to end up in a heap at the side of the road anyway :)

Just remember to put up your tent before you start the evening's drinking - I forgot last year  (in my defence I did arrive rather late).

Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure brother gets the tent up before I'll let him loose on the beer :)

I imagine as this is under the CCC banner, promoting the BXC forum like that might raise a few eyebrows, but many of us have BX Club stickers. Is it time to get some more printed I wonder...

I dont think the CCC will mind really, my conversations with the powers that be is that they make everyone welcome and they know that the BX is fast approaching classic status, the place is big enough for us all to be able to park together, those getting there on the Saturday could maybe start it off, would be nice if we could get them all in a line/or together!
