We need to choose a CB channel now so we can call or listen for other participants as we approach the start point on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I suggest EU channel 33. (for no particular reason)

Why not choose a witty and original callsign for your team vehicle?

Tim has bags on "Team Pink", so all you other faded red BX owners will have to think of something else.

It might be clever now, but it won't be in the morning!

Mike, the truck stop doesn't have any magmount aerials, don't suppose you have a spare one?

Lol it wasn't for that reason mike but it's good enough!

Just realised I have no reversing lights  It seems they didn't reconnect them after the gearbox swop.

Sit the wrong way round and put your headlights on. People will think you're reversing!

you can get mag mount aerials from maplin. Think there about £20. Not the sexiest looking, but i've had two and they've both worked out of the box.

Sincerely hope that all the cars behave beautifully, and that you all have a wonderful time behaving (not toooooo) badly.

Safe travels, have fun, send pix!

Oh dear Mick, what would we be like given a roadtrip and a CB radio, it would be constant filth... But enormous fun!

Yep, good luck y'all, looking forward to beautiful scenic photos, so make sure you don't sully them with yourselves
