International Rescue possibly on call-out in just over 4 day's time too for the
XM , as that's on your doorstep (Menston, Ilkley,West Yorkshire LS29 6AY) ?

Just to conclude this thread for now.
The BX made it back the 215 miles from Sidcup under it's own steam non-stop
The car does have a few issues besides the headgasket problem but now at least all the money that "Thickasmud" piled into it won't be wasted.
