Apart from looking like it\'s been parked in the sun for a while and then polished, I can\'t see what the fuss is about? Could quite easily have only done that many miles IMO. Jump pack? Duff battery. Not really a deal breaker! Rust?? Mate that\'s the number plate isn\'t it?

I wouldn\'t want a GTi 4x4 mind. Most pointless BX going IMO, if not a pretty cool one.

Yes - I've seen my miserable, wilful distortion of reality for what it is. #-o

I swear it's staring at car Ads too often on the internet and trying too see through the glossy veneer through to the rusty truth. My mind is bloggled, twattered and notworked I fear. >>^

Interestingly when I asked the seller if this vehicle came with any service history here was the reply:

"Hi there - unfortunately not. I can not imagine it has been around the clock though, the interior is in such fantastic condition. I have been told the rear arches and the A posts are susceptible to rot but these are rock solid. If you want to come and see it I am around all week. Thanks, Nigel"

I'd buy it if it had been round the clock - it must be a good 'un at over a million miles  :D

the bidding is hotting up; it went up £500 overnight, now £1,350. I don't think this car would get past SWMBO at the price it could well finish up at - pity really. Give her her due she would be prepared (happy is a bit too strong) for me to spend a couple of grand on having the M5's dents sorted and a respray

maybe the 4x4 estate will reappear on ebay and be sensible money
previous- GS, Visa, 19DTR, 4x4, now ZX 1.9D and 1985 BMW M5

now over £1400 and the highest bidder has put in an extra bid quite astounding that it would make that sort of money

Well if that's the way forward for BX values then great, I feel though the purchaser may be disappointed!
