I'm somewhat puzzled John and I'm an ex-smoker so usually side with the non-smokers! Your car, do in it what you like.

im also an ex smoker and a big believer in live and let live.
i am quite serious about anyone wanting to buy the car and save it from its fate with me. i cant see how a couple of fags a week can spoil it forever.wish i had never mentioned it now. im not prepared to be a target of condemnation for it though.
heres your chance.put up or shut up.
so far i have got some great information and help from this forum but some people need to lighten up.

Coin tray has never been a problem on any of my BX's. I've never any coins to put in. :(

I said it was my opinion only, you may disregard anything i've said seeing as this is a public forum. Quite where you start telling me to buy your car plus £100 is quite laughable really, i don't need or want your car at the mo as nice as it currently is.

Like i said, you do what you want, just don't expect a pat on the back thats all. Plenty of others have done all sorts of worse things than what you've said, & they've had a right slating for being the idiots that they are. All you have to do is read the thread of someone buying a rather nice bx for £20 & then offering it on another forum for £150 after having done zero work on it, now that is pathetic & certainly deserves condemnation.

So do please stop crying over what i've said or anyone else for that matter as its getting boring now.

I am thinking of pulling out the coin tray and placing the Navman GPS in its place. Less windscreen reflection and not in field of view! I dont need to look at it it tells me where to go and besides that when your roads only have one direction who needs maps of any kind

I thought about going all upmarket and having a flip up sat nav to replace the odds and sods tray int he dash.. Probably wont ever gt round to it though.

Cant see the problem with smoking in cars, pretty much every smoker will smoke in a car, and I cant see how anyone can say they've bought a 20 year old car with christ knows how many previous owners and it's NEVER been smoked in?

I'd sooner by a good condition car thats been smoked in than a smoke free rotted out pile O'shite frankly.

My Dad's car smoked itself, really quite badly after being torched, can't smell any of that!

And lets face it, EVERYONE has at some point farted in their car..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

All I have to do is buy something on ebay, and SWMBO tells me where to go... :)
