buy it to fake up a service history? at that price it must be,either that or it can hoover and tidy away beer cans and pizza boxes...............

I suppose if you've lost your original, then you could probably get it all re-stamped to help with a future sale if you've got fsh, but i suspect that most would buy one for falsifying unfortunately

I bought my Mégane with no service history.

Called the dealer that sold it originally and guess what - a perfect service record at a Renault main dealer! They said if I sent them a blank book they'd fill it all in for me - so it's quite handy having this type of thing for sale.

They have their dealer stamp on every record as well to prove I wasn't just creative with a service book

Read the description again, The car details section is already made out so only really any use if you own the car it belongs to.

dont you just love the e bay adverts where you can buy a chassis plate and v5 from a classic car.no car just a fake it yourself kit for a stolen/badly/illegally rebuilt/go pre 72 free road tax car? dont the police ever look at ebay?

Yes.

They have a specialist unit as well to look for this stuff on the net. Not all gets picked up like most things off the net do not unless they get a tip off or just lucky
