Is there the prospect of pitching on Friday the 15th do you think ?

I bought a copy of Classic Car Weekly last week because it had a front page article about Gaydon - promising to support clubs by keeping prices reasonable - makes me wonder if they put their prices up and found it unsustainable.
Hi Brian

The plan is to make our "spot" available friday evening for those who want to camp over, Gaydon has always been expensive, especially the food, its a great place but once youve seen it then youve seen it.

Ive been about 10 times over the last 20 years or so and most of the cars are still in the same place.

Erm, i've been going regulalry for the last 3 years, none of the cars are in the same places! But the food prices are a bit stupid.

I recon the national bike museum would be a good place for a gathering, don't know what there facilities are like though.

Excellent, if funds allow there will be evening entertainment on Saturday. Just in negotiations with the organisers.

Not too bad then. The BBQ rule is going to be a bit of a disappointment, but I guess it's not beyond the wit of us to work with it. Nice that there's a bar - more chance to mingle with members who wouldn't normally have anything to do with us

Indeed the BBQ is a pain but its the rules so cant be helped, the band should liven things up a bit too.

I've got a Trangia, downside is that it one of the smaller one's, so it'll only do about 2 people at a time, so getting food might take hours

no point at all me going then!
It's a long drive just to drive straight home again!

Blimey, thats not that small mate, I can only get one body in my stove at a time, and even then I have to chop them up first!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
