Then some! Thanks to Kermit and Neil P (owner of that lovely gold Mk. 1 BX).

Mind you I'm yet to see them cut in because it's not got hot enough yet! (Damned 'Summer')...

i thought the location seemed good this year, and i don't think the difference of a hundred miles or so should matter to a committed BXer :) sorts out the serious people! Which of course i'm looking like i'm not as i didn't attend, but it is very expensive in travel and time for me. From what i can gather i think the forecast for the weather in the days leading up might have put people off, it's always a bit of a lottery, and Tim you shouldn't feel bad about the turn out, i think these things go up and down. I could donate my services musically for a gathering, maybe we could have an off-shoot 'Glastonbury green fields-style' campfire music session at the ICCR or near camping site? I really need to make the effort to get over to that one next year.

I was loading my BX up tonight after a gig, and i was under the bonnet tweaking towards my ongoing optimum timing/fueling quest, when a passer by said 'sounds like the exhaust manifold'.. the exhaust is very rusty and probably leaky, so i know that's an issue. Anyway, we chatted for a while.. he used to have one. He said 'you almost need to have a personality disorder to keep one of those going' Nice guy though.

I enjoyed mooching about there for a couple of hours on the sunday. A nice ride out from essex & I enjoyed seeing the DS's and the CX's. I think staying overnight would have made it better value for money. Steve
