Rear arm bearings are worn, a common issue on BX's, so its not major, i believe there might be the odd club member who may be able to do them for you at a decent price. Better to get them done sooner rather than later as it can damage the arm the more worn they get. Get the worst one done 1st if finances are tight & when funds allow get the other one done, they probably won't need doing again for another 10yrs :D

Sounds like old friend 'rear arm bearings' with those leaning wheels. An interesting task!

I have taught myself to weld in the last months just to keep my BX break alive - like yours no concours winner but just decaying like all old bits of metal! If mine wasn't a Mk.1 it would have gone in the bin with all the other of its brothers and I would have moved on but I feel a strange sense of duty to keep it alive. That is what decides life and death for the ole BXs!
