Ebay throws another into the ring
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-CITROEN-BX19 ... dZViewItem
Seems nice enough. Another one photographed wet in a soapy puddle! But low mileage, and an uninterfered with example. Am I right this is a 70-odd Horsepower engine? Isn't it a bit feeble? Or is the economy on these very good? (Sorry, no BX brochures at hand!)...
Sorry if somebody's already posted this spotting!

Well, if you work in a scrappies, there must be plenty of cars that come in that you think "can't need much" so you do up and sell on.
Or you have access to a good front half and a good back half...
Have already had a TGD myself though. Fancy something else. Have never owned a BX that isn't 1905cc!

Had 2 1905's,a4x4 which is sitting behind my house waiting to be re-acquainted with the road and a GTI Hurricane which went to the car park in the sky My previous TZD was saved by Ken Newbould and my present one is still blasting up and down the roads of Yorkshire

My GTi Hurricane was an absolute stormer performance wise.
Most flexible car i've ever driven. Docile round town with a nice light clutch, an A road terrorist and a Motorway mile muncher!
The 4x4 is comparatively cr4p. Slow and clumbersome. To get a nice smooth drive i have to drive it much more carefully but its an enthusiasts car.
Saying that though you can throw it into corners you couldnt dream of with a 2wd BX. I wouldnt recommend one though unless you're a real BX nut!

When I first got my 4x4,my dad had a 2wd GTI.I took him for a spin and he was amazed at the difference in roadholding(messy pants)OK the 4x4 isn't as fast off the line, but boy does it handle. It is superb at covering B roads miles fast(especially with a trailer tent on the back, but that is a different story!!)

Spotted the scrap yard behind it and I reckon he`s probably been asked to collect the car by someone who didn`t want it anymore. If he`s anything like me he won`t have paid for it either so has found a winner. I`m not for one minute implying anything about the car or the seller, it looks very nice and it`s entirely up to the buyer to bid what they think is a fair amount.
Got to say though if it were mine I`d have found a better place to take a picture of it!
