thats the best looking red BX i've seen in a while maybe bar Richard's 16 pilot he recently sold. Which i could have bought and saved myself a whole bunch of money getting mine up to scratch. Gotta fund the cause though right? That's why we're here. :D

I'm hoping so. Despite only living 10 minutes away, I've yet to see CGAT (or Neil) in the flesh... weird eh?

Anyway that TGD looks lovely, pop those bumper inserts off, bit of wet and dry and some satin black would do wonders! :wink:

She's 25 next monday! not sure about the rallies... might keep her safe for the ICCR and I have a few other projects on the go :)

Two wheel jobbies though GL1500 and a K75 :)

Hmm if I made it really tidy it may stop me driving it :)

Having one ,daren't leave it anywhere shed is bad enough.

covered in dust at the mo but it will be there when you pick the distributor up ;)

Thank you, it's had a bit done to it, I'm trying to replace the old Mai konics kit with a new EMS .... but been working on the bikes. Change is as good as a rest.

1986 series 2 Citroen CX GTI Turbo (1996 Mai konics conversion modified AEI ‘ECU’, waste gate mod, Mai konics engine rs500 intercooler fuelling clutch ETC)
Mai konics were at the time Thee CX tuners (based in CHESHIRE) offering various stages of tuning.
Below is how it is today including a rebuild of the tired engine through the course of 2007/8
2500 cc
M25 662 Citroen OE engine (brand new old stock stripped and rebuilt 2007/8)
Balanced bottom end (John Noble motor sports Derbyshire)
Forged JE pistons and Total seal piston rings (Performance unlimited York)
Re profiled standard cam and valve springs replacing the Mai konics version
Gas flowed and ported refitted cylinder head, replacing the Mai konics version (Keith Calver of Calver ST)
Remote oil filter and 19 row oil cooler
Maikonics flywheel with new Helix clutch
8 injector twin airflow meter fuelling (using 2 OE injector sets) reworked throttle body close on
Twin green cone air filters
Bosch 044 fuel pumps
FSE Bullet fuel filters
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
Atech Stainless fuel hose and alloy fittings
RS500 intercooler
T3/4 hybrid water-cooled Garret turbo

HKS SSQV bov
Samco and other silicone hoses air and water
Powerflow stainless steel exhaust. ‘Custom Performance’
Screamer pipe
MSD 6212 ignition, coil and leads ‘MSD direct’
NGK B9HV plugs
Citroen CX Diesel T2 gearbox this was brand new in 2000
Rose jointed gear selectors
Dotz hanzo 17 inch wheels Z rated 235 40 17 tyres (new 2008) locking wheels bolts
The suspension has up rated spheres fitted to stiffen the car up
The bodywork had a bare metal paint job in 2000 using Du Pont chromalusion paint.
Wizards of NOS direct port Nitrous
The alloy components have been polished and the steel parts plated as required.
