A friend of my mum's is a confectioner. I will speak to her re a BX birthday cake. Can't promise it will be a cake in the shape of a BX, but it will be a tasty cake nontheless.

I can help with the Club graphics - banner, leaflet (might as well promote the club) and t-shirt. Thing is how to we pay for the physical items?

I think we have to ask for a donation from club members, I know not all will want too and thats fine, I have no idea what the banners cost.

The T shirts and stickers of course will be simple enough to cost up.

Is it possible for the BX club to open a paypal account for the sole purpose of allowing people to pay funds in to, or would this cause more problems than it solves. Just a thought.

Every international rally i've been to usually arranges cars by model during the day anyway. Are you planning to start splitting the BXs up into 'us and them'? It strikes me this might rather alienate those Europeans that have travelled great distances?

Can I suggest a new sticker for the windows of 'our' BX's - and possibly a Club gazebo (sadly mine's no longer a viable proposition - as anyone at the National will attest!)?

No way Vanny, it would be great to get as many BX's together in one place but promote the club at the same time.

Would be nice to have a bit of a year by year display though dont you think?

yes they did it for the traction's birthday in switzerland, the even had signs infront of each one telling you about the vehicle etc. So no reason why it cant be done for the bx....or that the europeans cant join in/park all bxs together..(right??)

Passed the rally site on the train today. Can we get like a clock or something?! You know like the olympic one but for the ICCCR? just a thought...

Hi,
Just let us know how we can help.

- We have a local banner maker who is very reasonable
- We have a T-shirt and Embroidered logo supplier who will provide "order fulfilment" order 1 garment at a time. Their catalog is here: http://www.stbridesbay.com/catalogue.asp
- We can also provide you with free meeting facilities on the site.

Regards
Mick

Sounds good. Thanks.

The BX Club should maybe have some sort of ICCCR team set up? I'll volunteer to organise graphics and merchandise.
