Oh well that is an arse, when did they move it? I wonder if it moved date when it changed venue? Or if i'm just mental?

On the plus side, thats an extra week in Southern Europe for me :D

Glad you pointed that out, i've already got the time off booked for the ICCCCCR!

NFI when/if it was changed sry, but I thought I was going (even more) mental and had booked the wrong long weekend off work, so no cookie for you, giving me a mild heart attack like that ;P

I've just noticed the ICCCR is occuring on the same weekend as my boyfriends birthday (11th). Depending on what we're doing I may be able to come up for the Thursday and maybe Friday, but defo not sat or sun... Poo.

Bring him with you - you can always take some time out doing something other than car stuff (like over to the local MacD's for dinner on the 11th then come back for the beer. Or something.)

Alternatively, PX him for someone who was born on a different day.

Thing is, he really isn't into cars, and has voiced his opinion that he wasn't coming. I could probably bully and bitch him into doing it, but he'd sulk so wouldn't be pleasant for him.

Attractive as birthday maccy d's sounds, i'm not sure that'll be a selling point...

PX him for someone else? na no one else would put up with my bossing and general high maintenance persona. He's done 3 years so far, and still wants to marry me so I must be doing something right.

That'd be ideal Kitch, but unless you can re-register people like you can do cars (PV5?) not sure...

I'll look into the September dates a bit further I think and report back.

Right - poll to find ideal date has been set. It covers all weekend dates in September. Although I'm going away in September it's during the week, so any of the weekends suit me fine (though I might pop up to Stratford if everyone else does as I'm not sure of the date yet).

You'll have to have quite a healthy engine to better the one that came in the other day:

Engine certainly does looks healthy! Almost flat torque curve and an almost perfect y=x power curve.

Well so far only 3 people have voted on a date, and Saturday the 15th is winning. Truth be told that's the worst day for me  Not one I cannot do, but I get back from holiday the day before and won't have had a chance to sort the workshop. Not a deal breaker though, I can always spend some time before everyone shows up.

Putting the 16v and also my Dad's GT on there tomorrow after it's 2yr hibernation to see what kind of state the engine is in and whether it needs any form of overhaul. I'll report back :)

Rich, the problem with the Forum's polling is that you can only choose ONE date to vote for when there may be many other dates that would be suitable too.
So perhaps there is a better way of doing this online ?
I can't make Sep 15/16 as I am away in Russia but I really want to make it if you can find another date before Sep 3rd or after 19th.
