Any one able to tell me what the expected invoice time for changing a Cambelt on a Diesel would be?

I would think 5 - 6 hours on average.

Not a week and two days then? (to be fair, I spent most of that time broken in bed with flu!)

I've just dug out the invoice scan for my ex-TZD from when the local garage did it late-2009, and they charged me for 2.5hrs, including tensioner. The water pump was OK.

2.5 hours charged on my garage rcpt too when I had it done. The guy was ex-Citroen main dealer & he charges Citroen defined book times (albeit at a lower labour rate :D ).

If your only being charged 2.5 your certainly not being ripped, I thought book time was usually about twice what the job actually took

Thanks! This gives me something to work with when I negotiate with our local garage.

One those crucial jobs I dont really want to take on myself due to lack of tools.

The only tools I had to borrow for the cambelt job were a 16mm deep socket for the engine mounting, and a bloody great breaker bar to undo the crankshaft pulley bolt. Frankly, a cambelt change is a world of pain that everyone should experience at some point.
