Liking the red hoses actually. Didn't think I would, but they work well.

Mine will look this good under the bonnet one day :-)

My BX is a 1989 19TRI automatic. 123,000km in 24 years is hardly run in! I took some pics today, a pleasant autumn evening in Sydney.

Your car looks lovely, what's the 122 badge on the number plate panel ? I was in Sydney at the end of March, it's an amazing place, Im determined to get back to Aus at some point.

I think the 122 might have been an Australian market oddity. It denoted the 122 hp engine. Essentially I think it is an 8 valve GTI 1.9 with a catalytic converter and softer suspension. It has no spoiler but the full instrumentation, central locking and power windows but no sun roof.

Look me up when you get back to Sydney! I am originally from Hertfordshire but I think Sydney is where I will stay :D

Same as my TZi, 1.9 GTi with softer ride, down 3 bhp on GTi (maybe a different cam?), and fitted with a catalyst.

TRi 122 had DKZ 122hp engine (like the TZi) as opposed to the DFZ in the TRI. Different heads and pistons in both engines, DKZ has smaller combustion chamber, DFZ pistons have less dish, etc. Tri 122's had the earlier rear lamps, trim strips etc. TRi122 manuals also has a BE1 gearbox like the TRi.

Your car looks great, there aren't many Bx's around here with kilometres that low. Only around 76500 miles for you UK chaps.
Let me know if you need any bits and bobs!

Will do! Where abouts in Sydney are you ? I stayed in Kirribilli, the only classic citroen I saw the whole time was a nice looking 2cv done up with Le coq sportif branding

I've got friends in Engadine. Apparently it was 23 degrees the other day. Not bad considering its nearly winter!!

Alas, Sydney's Indian summer has ended today with showers and 16 degs. Still not exactly "freezing" but Sydneysiders get suicidal below 18 degs or with two days of rain... "When will it ever stop? "

I am in Manly on the northern beaches. Magic place and not far from Kirribilli.

Ah I went over to Manly for one of the days I was over there, took the ferry from circular quay and went walking round the old army base, then went down past shelly and spent a few hours on the main beach, you live in a lovely city and I envy you!! haha.
