Oh yes, I asked about the cambelt on the second one,
The guy said " I dont know when it was last done, I will get the mechanic to take a look and if he thinks it needs doing , he will do it "
I told him it is due to be done within the next 5,000 miles so I would want it done and you cant tell if a cambelt needs doing just by looking at it.
He said he would ask the mechanic so I told him
I the customer have told you I want it done as part of the deal so if your not prepared to do it lets just forget about it,
Much to his surprise I got up and walked out after having a word in the managers ear.
You could hear them arguing about lost sales right across the car park.

gone back to hyundai and bought another 2.7 trajet ( this time in a very fetching maroon/burgundy colour ),
just as well because I was meant to be going to Eastbourne Sunday to pick a mate up who sold his suzuki 500,
up at 6.30 , went out to start the V70 , spun over but wont fire, havent got at home cover so have had to have that added to our policy. will leave it a couple of days before I call them out though.
Picked up a sony head unit for the trajet , exdisplay , reduced from £ 245.00 to £79.00 has bluetooth so can do all sorts with it.

I've got a Sony bluetooth unit in the Focus and it's great, no need to worry about putting in an earpiece or not hearing the phone over the music. Just leave your phone in your pocket and it connects automatically when you get in the car. Lana's phone works even better with it as you can use the controls on the head unit to play music on the phone, neat!

who would have thought it ,
the reason the volvo wouldent start was lack of fuel ,
No wait a minute , it had a quarter of a tank but my drives slopes across its width so the pump side was higher than the other side where all the petrol had settled,
( such a bloody great tank )
put £15.oo worth of gas in and away she went.
first time I had ever parked the volvo on the drive as the pug always used to be there and the volvo was on the gravel in front of the house.

Volvo passed its mot last week , two outer steering arms and a gaiter.
the arms were advisories last year.
caravan on an annual pitch at market deeping, £1,260 a year and I can use it 50 out of the 52 weeks.
trajet now has limo tint rear and side windows ( not front door glass )
Oh and last week I bought a set of Hyundai coupe alloys with 6mm tread tyres for just over £100.00. pick them up Sunday,
the trajet has been nicknamed the dragon wagon because of Julies obsession with all things that breath fire
