Mk 1 dash removal

Did all the lightbulbs on Sophie's dash this morning, suprisingly easy in fact. All lit up like a Christmas tree now and the oil in the top of the speedo cable has certainly quietened it down.
With the new side mirror being done, a lot of niggly bits have been sorted.

If you withdraw the speedo from its case and SPARINGLY lubricate the odometer drive gears with 3-in-1 (not the speedo itself) it's likely that you can make it go fully quiet.

That will have to be next time i go in there!!

However, i bought a load of spares recently and in amongst the assorted speedo cables was a brand new top cable of zackly the same thats in Sophie so if it gets bad ile replace the lot.
