Wires I'm happy with - toilets less so. Especially ones that don't flush
Mark, seeing as the fridge works on gas the refrigerant side of things is OK. They use heat from either gas, 12 V or mains to circulate it so it's likely either the mains element has failed or even better just the wiring/fuse to it. PM me the details and I'll price up a replacement element.
Paul, do you think that a fridge repair man is a career I should be getting into? From this film (which I assume was a documentary) did it look like an interesting job?

I'm not sure if it was a documentary, but I suppose there was a kind of 'educational' slant to it. It did look like quite an interesting job from what I saw, but what with one thing and another I lost interest after about 10 minutes (or less).
Um, yeah, cars - Paul, what's happening with those S. Clifton BXs and breaking thereof please? - would an expedition as part of/backed onto the tech weekend be a possibility?

I thought it was always a washing machine repair man and they always wore a bib and brace but no tshirt underneath it,
I seem to remember "fast spin settings" being involved at some point,
Perhaps it was a different film altogether

light travels faster than sound, thats why you look intelligent and then you spoil it all by opening your mouth !!!!!
I like the documentaries about the pizza delivery guys. The ladies always order a vegetarian but when they open the box there is some sort of sausage on it, I don't get why they keep ordering from that place to be honest
Also sorry of off topic

I never understand these documentaries, the research team involved in them gets all sorts of things wrong. For one, you never hear the delivery person arrive in something two stroke powered or that sounds remarkably like a clapped out tappet-death-rattle Fiesta.
What were we talking about again? Something about silly rusty plastic French cars?
Anyway, talking of buying stuff on the internet that arrives in discrete packaging (which we weren't), my fogs arrived yesterday. These are going on the Hurricane and the ones on the Hurricane on the TGD.
@Mat - apart from a fog-light switch - what else will I need to actually plumb them into the TGD?
We're going to need our own 'yellow Siem foglight' parking area, at future CCC events Paul!!

Wires , a relay and a fuse. Possibly the simplest way which looks quite neat is with a fused relay. Ideally the socket which the fog light switch plugs into, together with a few inches of wire, but not essential.

Thanks for that Mat . Right, so I need one of these . . .
? These were 4.20 while some others were 8 quid odd. Are the £8 ones £4 better than the £4 ones? Then a fog light switch and 'some wire'. If I go to a motor factors and ask for 'some wire' they'll know what I mean? I think that's everything?

Well, they're yellow Mat and that's the main thing.
