It's not exactly the pinnacle of accuracy, that site. The date has been inputted by the DVLA after all

2nd from the bottom, 8 taxed, 5 SORNed. The website is in no semblance of order i've noticed, you just have to read the whole damn thing to be sure you didn't miss anything. That's the DVLA for you!

I noticed you were on the forum early this morning Mr Mick, like 4am early! What on earth you get up that early for?! Me being a student, I am incapable of getting up before 9am without dire consequences so i'm naturally perplexed :D

All - some more information about the Citroen:

1. I have uploaded a photo of the rear of the car now. The wiper blade needs to be replaced, which I will do next weekend.

2. MOT runs to Aug 28th 2012.

3. Tax runs to the end of Aug 2012.

Will provide the service history this week, as it's getting late now and it's Monday tomorrow!

Sorry, I forgot to answer the question about power steering: it doesn't have any.

As for price: make me an offer! You can contact me on: adrian.small@live.com but please remember that the car probably won't be free until the end of May / beginning of June

All - apologies for the lack of Comms, but it has been a busy week.

Some more info about the Citroen for you:

1. Service history
The Citroen has been serviced at frequent 1000-2000 mileages, as detailed in the Citroen service book:

3776 miles
5200 miles
7740 miles
9490 miles
11347 miles
13120 miles
14037 miles
14584 miles
17586 miles
20983 miles
22385 miles
22751 miles

The last one was a full service: there were some routine smaller jobs done (new spark plugs, screen wash, 4 new tyres + balancing) but some other things that might be of interest too: AUX belt and LHM pump belts were replaced and tensioned, LHM was either topped up or replaced (at a cost of £7-15) same with TQF Fluid (cost = £6-95)

In case anyone is interested, the next service is due at 32,000 miles, which is still 7,000 miles away!

2. The car will be on sale at the end of May, all things being equal

The mornings of Saturday 26 May and Sunday 27 May have been reserved for anyone who wants to see the car (but not before, I am afraid, I have a very busy couple of weeks coming up). If you are interested, please contact me on adrian.small@live.com. I probably won't be able to reply to your e-mail immediately but will respond as soon as possible, although there might a day or two's delay.

Target price: £900 (or nearest sensible offer), which I think is a bit of a steal for the condition of the car and its mileage. I am also going to advertise it on some other websites so don’t miss out!

Good luck with the sale, lets hope an enthusiast buy's the car rather than someone just after a runaround & then it gets scrapped at the 1st sign of a bill....Hopefully a fair offer will secure the car.

Tricky one. Sounds over-priced for a 1.6 petrol, but £900 is not a lot of money really. Not when you consider what people will spend on a Mk2 Cavalier or a Sierra.

Problem is, I don't think there are enough of us enthusiasts yet! Those after a really nice BX are more likely to go 1.9 petrol or diesel.
