Thanks for the replies. At the end of the day, I would like to see that car go for a reasonable price to someone who will love it, rather than the scrap merchant, so I am open to decent offers.

Don't be shy about coming round to see it, folks!

One owner car with that miles and history got to be worth £900 all day long even if it is a 1.6 petrol. If no one on here wants it I would put it on:

It will sell in no time.

..that_ A fair price for a lovely sounding car. It'd be nice to see some pictures? Good luck with the sale anyway - sure you won't need it.

I think this is the slightly higher HP version of the 1.6 - the same as in the Meteor will return similar BHP as the turbo diesel and you'll get 35-40mpg on a well behaved run - no turbo lag either.

I murdered a brand new cooking spec A4 Hdi on the M90 the other day going up the big hill south of Perth towards Edinburgh. Simple arithmetic my dear man - A4 75bhp and weights a tonne - BX16 meteor 90 odd Bhp and weighs about as much as kate moss's G string

All - just to let you know that I had some good luck on the carandclassic website in advance of the date that I was expecting to sell the Citroen. Last night, Cindy went to live in Guildford with her new family who promise to give her lots of TLC.

Thanks for your comments and thoughts. This BX1991 signing off.
