Well done Jane - that's excellent news Sorting out the niggles is part of the ongoing pleasures of BX ownership (as long as it is just a 'niggle'!) I find getting a long dysfunctional dashboard light working can generate an ineffable pleasure that (perhaps wrongly), suggests that God is in His heaven and all is well with the world! Enjoy

I can't remember from my previous BX whether there should be a light behind the clock (there was in the Xantia) but if so that may be a bulb I need to change.
I know that the sunroof can be done manually although I've never done it (it was one of the best working parts on the Meteor) I will have a go tomorrow in daylight.
Very happy though, niggles are just niggles and I can either sort them or learn to live with them. Much like any relationship!

sunroof on mine wouldent move when I got it, I seem to remember Peter saying he thought the one on yours needed a new switch.
I managed to get mine to go up but it was sticking when I tried to get it to slide back so got someone to operate the switch while I gently pushed it down and then it worked fine.
I have put a bit of vaseline around the seal after cleaning off the green mould that was on it.
It was purely due to lack of use in my case

Vaseline works wonders when things are a bit out of use doesn't it Mick, gets things all loose and limber again and ready for action
like...
Sunroofs and hinges and door seals etc...
