Patrick Rugg has stepped up to buy this, apparently he has no budget and wishes to add it to his private collection of 3 unique UK BX's - one of which is a sport! I can't compete with that, so won't go which is good, because it'll mean I get my GT up and sorted quicker (after my exams of course).

I think it will fetch more than £500! possibly to reappear for sale again recomissioned not that long after....

Lot 898 - 1985 Citroen BX19 GT - Only one owner and 5,800 miles from new. Registration no. B650 CHJ. This classic low mileage Citroen has been dry stored for many years and will require re-commissioning for the road. Probably the lowest mileage example in existence. Sold with V5 log book

Not running. Front offside wing dented, front nearside wing scratched, no obvious rust, small dent to roof, small ding on doors,genuine mileage, not driven for at least ten years, overall very good condition

Franklin text me to say it wont be for sale, but they said that about the Sport Everything has a price.

Indeed! I think some people assume it's easy to make money flogging cars, but making any sort of profit seems near impossible to me! Can't question the Ruggs for passion either. I think it's in good hands.

Really hope that that one gets recommissioned and is available for view at an event soon, what a special and super-looking car - if I wasn't such a huge fan of the vert triton I'd want a gold one I think! Glad it's gone to a Citroen enthusiast.

Give the Ruggs there do they will spend the money and get it looking the part. I expect to see it at the ICCCCR looking like its just rolled out of a showroom.
