He's not selling anymore - the LNA sold on Saturday :D

 Funny you should mention the parking 'sensor' (as I call it), as we had an A4 Sheet in the car stating what it was all about, and at the bottom it said that we'd left the parking sensor on to give people something to moan about...
Dollywobbler wrote:That GT is the Rugg-mobile low mileage one. Nice to see it out and about already! Guessing it was trailered there?
No no no Ian! Two days after we got it delivered back to us, it had passed it's MOT! From the CCC Forum:
GT Update 2.
Well following the first update about it starting up and running I left you hanging about the MOT that was today. Unfortunately it did fail which was a bit disappointing, however after topping up the washer bottle as there was no water, it passed! :D :D (Ah, I bet that got you going didn't it!)

Although it passed fine, dad thought that there was a slight flatspot on one of the tyres so four brand new Michelin's have been ordered for it - somehow I think that this one is a "keeper"!! It'd actually look very nice next to his '75 (N Reg) Gold CX come to think of it...

Any other BX'ers going to the DSM Rally (8-10th June) - two weekends away and that could be a nice first outing for it I suppose...
Drove perfectly down to Little Horwood on Sunday (goes well too!). An update in that it has now just topped the 6,000 Miles mark and will be going undercover having done it's one CCC appearance - dad plans to do a couple of local shows but otherwise it is going under the cover in the barn.

Nice picture that James took:

Great stuff Franklin! Sorry, guessed it had driven as I hadn't spotted a tax disc. Wonderful that she's up and running.

No plans to take it to the ICCCCCCCR?

Nope, zero plans and neither will the Sport either. We'd take a number of Citroens there, but it's just too far away to get them transported up there!

On the way back we were in convoy for a bit with Dave:

Lean!!! Drive it like you stole it Dave!!

After that roundabout I think Dave was concious of his MPG - couldn't keep up with the GT!!

 That GT is absolutely stunning! If I managed to get mine halfway as nice as that i'd be happy. I suppose you'd expect it from a 6000 miler (whereas mines a 60,000 miler...)

You do take rather good photo's Franklin, is it a hobby/profession of yours?

Thanks Tom - I think the word 'timewarp' describes it best...

Just a hobby, and thanks for the comments. :)

You can see my Flickr here with a few BX pics although there's not too many photos on there I must admit. Camera-wise I've a Nikon D90 DSLR with a range of lenses...

Ah, my mum has the same camera with about 20 or so different lenses, I keep meaning to get into photography but never quite manage it. Mum's doing a fine art degree part time, and her current module is photography - it does sound fun!

Tom, If your Mum has the lenses just get yourself a cheap Nikon, even the D3100 will produce amazing results.

I have the D5100 & it is a superb bit of kit for a beginner like me.

Indeed it is, reminds me of Mike and his GS on the Challenge. Comical angles of lean. :)
