Re: The Aubergine
Which fuel pump have you got? I'm struggling to get less than 54mpg out of my TXD Turbo which I find astonishing. I'm wondering if the Lucas is better for mpg than the Bosch.

Re: The Aubergine
Not sure which pump it's got to be honest, I was getting low 50s on long runs like going up to Fleetwood and the trip to France last summer
I'm not sure if it's really making a difference or if I'm imagining it but she seem less sooty

Re: The Aubergine
I'm tempting to put a treatment through my TXD. It certainly can be very sooty! Mind you, handy for dealing with tailgaters...

Re: The Aubergine
Millers Ecomax diesel FTW Pug 806 laps it up. There is a definite albeit not incredible, improvement on power and mpg. Less smoke too.

If you want extra smoke, just pour 1 litre of used engine oil into your fuel tank, it works a treat

Re: The Aubergine
As I've said else where, my speedlines are in for refurb at the moment and the company has posted a picture of one of them on their twitter
Looking pretty good so far, I'm really pleased with it, just waiting to have the lip diamond cut

Re: The Aubergine
Seems almost a shame to put them on the car! Does that match the original finish, or is it more metallic?

Re: The Aubergine
They really are lovely Andrew. If they were mine I'd be tempted to put steelies and trims on for 'everyday' and keep those for 'parade dress'! If I kerbed those babies I'd be wanting Valium!

Those are bloody gorgeous - where did you get 'em done, I shall be looking at having mine refurbed later in the year when funds allow.
