Dollywobbler wrote:Free entry? How's that working then? Not that I'm saying it's a bad idea! Could tempt me into making the trek, especially with a visit to Bletchley.
...because we (the CCC CX Section) are paying for the field ourselves. Also there's a lot of people...'mentioning'...the cost of a certain large Citroën Show this year and naturally people will have a lot of expense after that certain show (entry, camping, physically getting there...) and thus we thought it best to do it free entry.
Sounds a good plan to me! It's certainly going to be a pricey old summer. I could do with selling some cars really...

If you plan to attend the Evening Meal and/or participate in the Visit to Bletchley Park on the Saturday, could you let me know please (PM or email to cx_secretary AT citroencarclub DOT org DOT uk

This will help in gauging the numbers for both, and in turn help our planning etc.

Thanks! :)

I'll be there in time for the Fish 'n' Chip van on the Friday (I hope it's coming!) and will be there 'til Sunday pm. And I'm bringing my youngest who wants to do some camping :)

Ian I'll bring the tyres, Hilary, I'll have your bars and rack - and I'll probably have some bits to give away too. Sorry, but I won't be in a Citroen - but next best thing: A Peugeot-badged Citroen.

See you all then!

I'll be landing Friday afternoon and probably staying until Sunday night. Do I need to bring some pickled eggs? :)

Looking at weekend workload I may be able to get to this there's a certain irony in taking a Citroen enigma the Activa to Bletchley i suspect the enigma code was easier to crack than the Acitva suspension ECU code.

Just noticed that the Bletchley visit is on the Saturday. Might have to make this a two-nighter, or get up horribly early on the Saturday! Jury is still out but I'm a definite for the trip.

Evening folks, got another update for the Rally for you.

Traditionally we hold a Raffle on the Sunday to end the weekend, and as well as all of the "usual" raffle prizes we've got some special ones this year. Many many thanks must go to James Walshe of Kerrang Radio and Q Radio for the following donations to the raffle, which we thank him very much.

First is up for grabs is a pair of tickets to go to see Nickelback at the 02 in London in October! As well as this, up for grabs are various CDs from a wide range of artists and hopefully something for every age group and taste, and a bundle of Bauer Media magazines.

So dig deep for some raffle tickets on the day - it'll be worth it!

Once again, many thanks to James of Kerrang Radio and Q Radio =D> =D>

Two weeks tomorrow...

Excellent news Franklin. Shame Nickleback can't actually play at the CXM itself, that would be a cracking way to spend a Saturday evening. How many jars of pickled eggs to I need to bring? :)

Ugh. Nickelback do my head in. Even more so now the lead singer is marrying Avril Lavigne. Is there no justice in the world?!

I might just make the trek for the Friday night so I can definitely do Bletchley. At the moment, it seems most likely that I'll be in the Bluebird!
