Good, is that to arrive Sunday 23rd for the SCC "proper" to start on the Monday? - just for purposes of mulling over route ideas. So far I think I've come up with about 64,793* miles to make sure we go everywhere that everyone (including me) wants to go, so might need to revisit that.

We can make the 23rd a stopover if people would prefer to make the 24th the start proper. I'm only 1 1/2 hrs from Ecclefechan so doesn't affect me really, but for people trekking up from the S.E./ Wales and the Midlands then a overnight stopover on the 23rd would probably be preferable.

I'll only resort to violence Sandre, if you start thinking outside of the box, whilst pushing the envelope!!

Must be that 56mph syndrome again - I got to Ecclefechan from Dursley (Glos.) in 4 hrs 20 minutes in an Ami 8 once, And got as far north as Wigton in less than 4 hours in a Wartburg! I find the best way is to set off around 4am to get there in time for breakfast

Cheers Phil, I'd really appreciate that. If you're BX'less when the SCC happens there is always a spare seat in my car.

Tim, if you can hang on until the ICCCR, when we can all get together to discuss it properly. Need to finalise a route, arrange campsites etc.

I'd say there are four main themes to consider re a SCC plaque design.
1. Citroen BX.
2. Tartan.
3. Irn-Bru.
4. Whiskey.
Well maybe five main themes,
5. Haggis.

I was thinking along the lines of Irn-Bru tartan lol!
