most of the updates can be found in this facebook group

https://www.facebook.com/groups/569898786366496/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

not sure if its public viewing or not, but Mike Sims is doing a cracking job of keeping viewers up to date on the tours progress.

You need to have a F/B account to view, I don't have an account and don't intend to, (especially after the latest US government SPYING scandal)

Back home!! 1337 miles in just under a week!!

Thanks to everyone for taking part and showing their support. Apologies if the planning went slightly awry at times, hope it didn't spoil your enjoyment.

A pity the weather wasn't on our side, but the scenery and roads were still stunning.

Here's to the next Citroen Classic Challenge!! Phil, over to you..!! :)

GT ran great, did over 500 miles today averaging 40mpg! Seems the trip in the ditch and getting soaked didn't do any harm.

Thanks to all those attended, I'll book my own accommodation next time though!

Single track road, a determined taxi driver who wouldn't wait....thankfully it was a shallow one and I was crawling along...put her in high and she pulled herself out! I did expect some issues but not even a bent mudflap.

Sounds like a close one & a lucky escape, bleedin idiots. Only a couple of days ago a white van decided to crash into the side of the mini whilst Nicky was driving, jesus wept, we are only in the process of just about selling the car & in the 7 plus years of owning it, it had to happen now :( Nicky was ok though, but it's really pissed me off (i wasn't in the car at the time of the accident).

Home after 1995 troublefree miles for "Daisy" and "The Aubergine", - cars and drivers need a good wash :)

See some of you again later on at the DS Rally. others at the National in three weeks.

It has been good fun, great driving roads and fantastic scenery - what I could see when it wasn't shrouded in mist or I wasn't just following the road markings!
Also, a great chance to get to know some of my fellow BXers better!

Will post up pics later.

Well done to Andrew who was the youngest driver by a good margin who kept up with us slightly more experienced hands!

There's a potentially unkind connection between the words 'ditch' and 'experienced' but I'm far too polite to make it. I'll just say, if anyone wants to hone their ditch avoidance skills, I know a great 6km test track called the D25; it's narrow and very wiggly and the locals are very partial to a game of chicken.

Cheers Tim, youngest driver in the youngest car until Mat turned up  Had a brilliant time and it was great to experience some challenging roads that most wouldn't attempt.

Heres a link to all the pictures I took for those interested:
