BX Club - should it become a proper club?

do a search and youll find the question has been asked many times over the last 10 years. usually the topic ends when someone looks into the legals and finds its not worth the hassle. you have to charge at least 10quid per person just to cover all the costs (bank account, solicitor, accountant, event insurance, etc etc ), and it then opens up the club to all kinds of liability.

The best "club" I was ever in was the rally club SLOWLY SIDEWAYS it went 'proper' and went all political and crumbled. In Germany they have interessengemeinschaft i,e, interest groups with no heirarchy - lets stay as we are!

Keep as is please, it may change in the future possibly, but i like it the way it currently is. Hosting costs are paid by a number of members on here & is voluntary. I quite like the fact that this isn't a proper run club with rules etc...which may very well spoil the great atmosphere on here & may put off future membership from around the world as the bx gets older & even more scarce. No one had better set up a MK1 club, haha....
