Hi everybody ,

First of all I congratulate every BX owner for their beautifull cars I've seen in Harrogate last week-end !
I'm a french BX owner ( 16RS série 1 only 15 000 Km ) and Citroën fan
I'm also member of the french club and forum :" univers BX et XM "

We organinize one event day for the BX 30th "Anniversaire" on september 22nd located at the Citroën factory in Aulnay sous bois ( 15 km north-east from Paris)

On that day in the morning we shall also be allowed to visit the Citroën Conservatoire du Patrimoine ( pre-registration is needed ): http://www.citroen.fr/conservatoire-cit ... e-citroen/

This is a must place to see and every Citroën fan have to go there at least once in his life
And maybe it will be one of the last possible visit

I must add that even if this is a BX day every Citroën car and owner is welcome there on that day : other cars than BX are already registrated

translation :

The price is 45€ including :
French breakfast
+ visit to the conservatoire du patrimoine
+plate of the day
+ Sticker of the day
+ DVD of the event
+ access to the "espace Citroën"


You can arrive and get out whenever you want
There is only 2 visits of the conservatoire du patrimoine : If you want to come in you have to register : Citroën need your full name for letting you come in ( and it is the same since the beginning : i was there on the very first day visits were allowed ) : there is only 40 people at each session ( and not 41 )
the first one from 9 AM to 10.30
the second one from 11.00 AM to 12.30
You only can register at the club univers or through me ( and me at Univers)

Bonsoir Xemes, don't worry about your English spelling, it's certainly better than my French. Welcome to the BXclub.co.uk forum. I'm sure one of us will have spoken to you at Harrogate last week, it certainly was a good BX turnout wasn't it. With regards to this 30 TH anniversary meeting in France and visit to the Conservatoire, I'm sure that a number of us would certainly be interested in attending. I myself would be VERY interested. Bonsoir mds141 , one great moment for me was on sunday when I saw all the BX battalion climbing hill from the camping to the maint point of the ICCCR : tomorrow I'll be able to post some pic of that here : maybe are you in ?

No you wasn't : I didn't find this part of the forum so I made a doublet : expect no trouble for that

I also can add a little "one more thing" :
If some of you are interested to come but have few cash , you can come without car :
we can pick you up at an airport : by example I often fly from Leeds-Bradfort or East Medland to Dinard or Nantes for only 21€ oneway
We could take you at Dinard, Nantes or Rennes and of course at Roissy Charles de Gaulle witch is only 5Km far from Aulnay
Cheap Hotels are also near Aulnay

I couldn't have done it : unhappylly my BX was left in France because I had brought a 2CV to be restored in Yorkshire in the month of May and then left there untill the ICCCR : so I had only 45 miles to go to come to Harrogate

Xemes, did Graham Morton of Holmfirth do the restoration of your deux chevaux?
