I don't think it it's overpriced at all. It's the wrong time of year admittedly, but it wasn't when you stuck it up for sale.

Personally I'd remove all those stickers, give it a clean and pop it up on ebay with a start price of £50. I'm pretty sure you'll get £100 for it there :)

Aye. It may come to that. Could do with warmer weather to help get those stickers off though. Might have to 'borrow' the hairdryer...

I have actually asked a local-ish Citroen specialist for a quote for clutch replacement. I can't face doing that job myself (don't really have suitable equipment) so we'll see what they come back with. Still have a bit of cash from flogging the Maverick, but I'd really hoped to get rid of the estate so I can buy a Dyane.

I think you should hang on to the tiger until time and funds allow, its too rare to scrap, I want a TD hatch next, or I would be transferring the money to you already....

It seems I wanted a TD hatch too! Problem is, now I've stuffed two huge speakers in the rear parcel shelf, the hatch isn't so practical - it's also so pristine inside that I feel bad stuffing things like scaffolding towers inside it. Therefore an estate is still handy really.

I apologise for my indecisive ways!

As Kitch said, no it's not over priced for what it is. The problem is that there are a limited number of BX enthusiasts that are both willing and able to do the work it needs, and most of us have enough on our plates already!

The fact that you are still chopping and changing about the future of this car says to me that if you get rid you'll only end up getting another down the line, which while it may be less challenged in the bodywork, may have a host of other issues. If you're after a Dyane, depending on what condition you're aiming for £100 may not make much difference one way or the other, so if you have somewhere to put it (even in a corner of the garden under a sheet) I'd hang onto it for now. The offer to help with the welding is still there too!

Sod it. I've purchased discs and pads. The resurrection begins here. Not saying I won't still sell it, but the price will go up as I make it better and better! Work looks promising so I can invest in a clutch change.
