The respray seems so far away

Nice work though - better than a respray that the rust will come through again!

The more I look at those pillars, the I wonder about cutting the pillars out of a scrapper for mine!

Ouch that's bad (the rust not the excellent workmanship). If it's that bad there what is it like in the more usual rust spots; inner wings, boot cross member, rear door shuts / sills?

EDIT: Sorry just caught up with the rest of this thread and now see the rest of the car is very good, I wonder if this rust to the sereen surround could have been caused by a badly fitted replacement screen at some point giving how good the rest of the car is?

I think it was a combination of badly fitted screen, leaky sunroof drainage pipes and the usual rot the starts in that area not being properly sorted.

Still got to do the other side, remove engine, change cambelt and clutch, paint engine bay, refit engine, get body filling done, get car sprayed, put car back together!
