Don't think I ever managed better than 48 :(

That's brilliant. Well done. (You might want to remove the block of wood from under the accelerator pedal, just in case you need a burst of power - ;) lol

Well the Red Baron has been fine all week its half full after getting filled on the way home from the NEC.
Tonight its leaving me to be swapped for the Activa I'm looking forward to getting the Activa back I do like Activas except for the fuel consumption.
Anyway Im expecting some smiley motoring and some pissed off BMW drivers in the next few weeks.

I find sitting in front of them doing 45 in 50 on a busy single carriageway normally does the trick!:D

After a week liking the new Qashqai very much it is way better than the Juke I went for a swim in the Activa , was there any need for so much rain.
It's ten times the car the Qashqai could be it was making me smile even just accelerating up the slip road.
Now all i need is a box of roundtuits for christmas and I can sort the Landrover and the RE.
Sadly or luckily depending on your point of view, now that Nissan Sunderland has won the Infiniti, spare time will become as rare as Rockinh Horse Poo

The Christmas period has be relatively drama free.
Today I'm at work in the Activa as the Qashqai is logging too many miles it is far to easy to hop in a drive somewhere for little cost it will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and is coming up 2000 miles and I havent really been anywhere.
The Red Baron is now sporting a cracked windscreen following a stone from nowhere direct hit, just in front of the drivers eyeline, as Jennie was driving home from my place.
The 4x4 has been readied for some fun in the snow mif we get it (I hope we do)
Ive definately decided by summer the white 4x4 and the RE have to go not enough time or space to keep them really and ive got a hankering for something German and sporty or maybe Jaguar and sporty.

I took the BX Gti out in the snow last night, it was good to let it have some fun. I quite enjoyed passing lines of cars stuck on hills (sorry if that offends) but some of the driving I saw proved a lot of people shouldn't drive in snow. I saw one guy in a Citroen xara picasso sit and spin the front wheels until the tyre burst the car didnt move an inch as the wheel was doing about 20mph.The torque sensing diff on the BX works well in wet icy snow only problem with four wheel drive in a Gti is a little too much right foot and the whole car slides all four wheels spinning. I enjoyed the night sodid the BX so didnt a few BMW drivers.

I cruised up behind someone in a kangoo on a hill, the wheels were just spinning & it was hardly moving, so after about a minute of waiting to see if i could get past him, i turned round & went up another road that runs parallel with the other, again its uphill. It wasn't looking good as i'd just started to go up it & some idiot in an audi came out of side road turning left to go up the hill, their car just slid wide & hit the pavement, he kindly just reversed back & i could continue my journey unhindered.

The standard of driving really goes down a few notches with the white stuff. I always enjoy driving in these conditions as its a challenge which i find fun, but most people just seem to see it all as doom & gloom & then seem to drive without any consideration for the rules of the road by being on the wrong side of the road etc....As per usual i had to overtake a few cars that were in my way :)

Modern cars with big fat tyres and over sensitive traction control arent much use, my new Golf 7 is a fabulous drivers car but rather hopeless in the snow!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
