Re: 2013 CCC NATIONAL RALLY FREE ENTRY!!!!!!!

Post by Tim Leech »

To confirm this event IS free to CCC members, with a valid membership card, it will be a very laid back "do your own thing" event, Nigel Wild will NOT be manning the tannoy if I can help it (gaffer tape anyone). But I would love as many BX's there as possible and for us to park all together and out doo the DS boys!

If it's a question of whose got the most cars we might be in with a shout. However, much as I love BXs, if it's a case of whose got the most beautiful, charismatic and iconic motor car - we might be in for a thumping . . . again! :D

(I'll be there btw 8) )

This looks like a good location for the wife and kids too, surprisingly old Citroens are not a big enough pull. And I haven't been to the U of K for two years or so ( is it still there?) I remember all that Wicksteed stuff in the playgrounds from growing up. Anyone remember these? This is a 'rat' look Wicksteed horse!

We used to have one of those in our local park when I was growing up - they removed it at least 15 years ago though, as it was deemed no longer safe!
