I called them and they said that we would have to pay for 2 tents even if they are tiny and all one family. Somebody will be sleeping in the car!

Hmm thats a bit mean but its not uncommon. Nothing I can do though sorry.

Well, they have to have rules or people would be able to just take the p. I'm just a bit annoyed now that Nathan is refusing to sleep in the car so either we have to pitch and pay for 2 tents or Hugh & I sleep in the car. I'm happy to sleep in the car but not sure I fancy sharing the space. I may need to resort to bribery.

Tell him (Nathan) that he can have unlimited use of the X Box/Nintendo Urine/Playstation.

I'm sure there's a space for him somewhere? Mark are you using an awning?

Pitch one tent, then when its dark pitch the 2nd one, get up early & take down one of em, jobbed

Whos going and when? you can arrive on Friday at any time, the gates are closed at 10pm-6am.

The Rally field and camping field are a distance away so best to put your tent up first then drive round.

I spoke with Wicksteed park yesterday and booked - I'll be arriving Saturday evening. I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to make it for the 7pm cut-off mentioned in their terms & conditions, and he said that wouldn't be a problem as I'd booked; they would just leave my access pass on the gate which would be manned all night.

Believe it or not I've not only washed the car, but polished it too! Mind you, it's looking filthy again after a day, what with all the dust on our track. Makes a change from mud though

Booked for Fri & Sat nights. Working until 4 pm, Fri traffic northbound is always appalling, plus it was 30 degC in the office by 8 am this morning and if that continues I will not be in a fit state to be out in public until I've been home and showered (again). So expect me when you see me, hopefully 8 pm latest.

I'm afraid there won't be flapjack. Too half-baked meself this week.
