Fingers crossed its all on for collection early Saturday morning. Picking up the trailer Friday pm for 39 quid which isnt bad.

Collected the BX 19RD this morning, not a too difficult job but glad of my mate Paul's help. Left at 6.30 am, back by 11.30. Motor running very rough, managed to drive it with a badly blowing exhaust up a very narrow lane up to the road where i was parked with the trailer and she conked out, not to start again. However, that saved a lot of agro and it was a simple winch upon to the trailer and an uneventful drive home thankfully.
All the seats are knackered as are all the doors and there is a big ding in the front driver door area which has knocked in the sill quite badly. Surface rust in many places and the bonnet is rough. She wont go, fuel system has been bypassed just to get her going temporarily, may have run out of fuel but the batt is now flat.
Malcolm may be up to see her tomorrow to see if she is worth saving. There is a rear suspension problem but she dosnt sink because she is chocked up with bits of wood underneath. I feel she will become a donor motor for my 2 MK 1s.
