Wanted o/s wing mirror

I would love to set up something like this but not sure it would be legal on a public street or how feasible it would be as I could be parked anywhere on a 20 yard stretch of road. Funnily enough when the damage was done it was parked just under a street light, I thought that was supposed to be a bit of deterrent.

Recording of images is generally perfectly legal on a public street. (I'm not one to get in to what is "legal" on the internet), but pretty sure you wouldn't have a problem.

So has anyone got a spare mirror then? If not I'll get one from eBay, I'm not happy driving around looking like I'm in an old banger!
