Sorry to dig up an old thread. I harbor ambitions of putting a HDi into my XM but that pales compared to this project. Having owned a XM TCT I was amazed at how hot it got under the bonnet. It was a great looking car in black but I didn't rate it power wise and it's thirst meant it had to go, driven hard on LPG it managed around 15mpg.
