Today i visited the scrappy and there are happy to come and collect it this week, so people it is your last chance to buy the whole shell and engine.

everyone knows alot of parts have been salvaged, so there is no interior, sunroof and other extras like mirrors on it.

all you would be getting is a BX with 4 wheels a shell thats battered on the passenger side (although doors are only a little dented) driver side fine, A very good engine with good gearbox although is is leaking gearbox oil from the passenger drive shaft from impact.

if anyone wants the left overs its yours for £120 and you collect it, of course i cant deliver.

please dont haggle or moan its missing a bonnet or part, or ask for me to take the engine out for you as i cant iv not got the room to do it or time.

otherwise the scrap man collects it this week.

Has anyone had the interior C post trim yet? I could do with driver's side in black. Not a biggy but I managed to break the end off mine.

Looks like the last post was on 18th December.

Has the car gone? I am looking for the fixing brackets, (offside and nearside), that attach the front bumper to the front wings.

Also, the rubber trims on the front bumper.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Tim and Paul,

dont really know what to say after your bloody horrible drive down to me in Sussex other than a great big thank you. Hope you made it home ok, sorry it was such a short stay and i will do my best to repay you both for all your time and effort. It means a great deal to me that guys such as yourself do what you do for me as i am going through very difficult times with mum at the moment. Hopefully, one day, i will be able to do a proper Citroen 'meet' and show off one of my motors and the bits you delivered from the 'red shed' and from your own bits of kit will be available for all to see and help keep an old motor on the road.
Once again, thanks guys.

Home and safe! Alot easier run on the way home, another two shunts on the way home, thankfully nothing major.

Good to see you both and the 19RD!

Merry Christmas

Right as the silly season is now out of the way, could those who have purchased parts from George get in touch about how and when they want them sending/collecting etc.

I shall be at the BXC day out at the Heritage Museum on the 27th, currently in my garage I have a sunroof for Dave, carpets for Mike Sims and a few bits for Brian/Electrokid.

Happy New Year to everyone.

not fun - at least they were ok.

I'm after a few parts.

C pillar speaker cover.
Sunroof switch
Central locking receiver unit and plip(s)
door window seals - especially drivers door - although I guess it's likely to go as a full door
Windscreen if it's ok.
if the front struts are ok they'd be useful ( mine sinks fairly quickly - not ruled out doseur yet)
