Anyone near Ludlow got a spare balljoint?

I currently have my BX estate in bits on the street outside. I've swapped the n/s strut and got the driveshaft out for attention and in doing all of this attempted to disconnect the balljoint from the wishbone. The nut unscrewed halfway then something snapped and now it's stuck there.

I managed to unscrew the hub from it without too much swearing so a tickle with an angle grinder and a new ball joint will see me mobile again but I can't get one till Wednesday through the usual channels so has anybody localish got a spare that I can buy?

All my other cars are broken too but we have a railway station within cycling distance.
