If clutches for the early BE3 box are getting difficult what about us lot using BE1 boxes?

I must admit that it slightly annoys me that whenever I go into the local dealer they insist on looking up my registration, only to find that the VIN it pulls up isn't recognised, as I told them it wouldn't be! having said that they're then quite happy to go through the computer listings and are happy to accept my help with regard to what I'm looking for, and by the end they aknoweledge that I probably know more about my car then they do!

Not sure if 1991 counts as early for a BE3 box but I must have some of the last ball pin release type. At least it can be converted - if I can find the parts......
