Re: ZX corner
One obvious problem with Campari/Cinzxano... The company's Italian
The more I think about it Noilly Prat is a nice choice for me, as I was asked to design Noilly Prat livery for my uncle's Formula 3 team back in about 1977/8. I also happen to know it's made in Marseillan, near Beziers and we could pass there on the Challenge without any difficulty.

Ok. Back O/T... Does anyone know if non-ABS car and ABS equipped ZX front brake flexes are different?

Re: ZX corner
What about some nice Burberry upholstery, then using the corporate ID of a beverage with a bit more - how would you put it? - 'grass roots' appeal? Like these for instance . . .
?
( the 'shopped ZX looks lovely btw )

Maybe not Burberry fabric, what about in the style of Park Bench? Or Old Settee. :0

Re: ZX corner
Glad you took the Campari reference as intended just the right 'spirit'
Go the whole hog, absinthe, if they still sell it at the old ratios. Check out Strohr rum in 40, 60, and 80% alcohol.... at least its smoother than some of that Yugoslavian (as it used to be) plum brandy
White Lightning is as chav as Burberry and I've yet to be convinced of the ZX as chav.....
Maybe a Nuits St George...

Re: ZX corner
You are of course right, there is nothing Chavvy about an 18yr old ZX lol...
Maybe some subtle deign elements along with the event graphics... But I still have at least a year and a half to sort it!

Re: ZX corner
It's important to concentrate on getting the car sorted mechanically and ensure the bodywork is sound. Little things like rubber mounts and hoses will degrade and seeing as this is almost as old as a late BX I will need to pay attention to things that could compromise reliability. Having said that replacing worn components in the suspension, brakes etc. as well as using higher specification elements and using some thought to eek out the best from the car will also be an objective.

Re: ZX corner
Phil, you must resist the chavtastic advice and represent the very highest artistic and aesthetic values in French advertising and body-wrap your ZX in Byrrh images. Here's a starter for ten and I know where you can find some more.
