Anyone else going on this visit? As it's only 5 mins away from me, should be there in the BX so come and say hello.

Worked there on a contract, for a while, in suit of offices in a basement of one of the bigger buildings. The rope winding shed is fantastic. Long old way from here while I am so busy.

I went there about 10 years ago as part of an Alfa owners meet - I can echo the comments about it being an interesting place.

Sorry for the OT but some nice (if blurry) cars - mine's the one in the bottom left corner.

Quite a good turnout in the end: 6 lovely Ds, 3 CX Safaris (OK one was an ambulance, another a 6 wheeler), an XM, a Picasso, our BX and an E-type.

Apart from an interesting place to visit we were allowed to park the cars in the centre of the Dockyard. My thanks to Phil Collins for organising.
